KIRKPATRICK DESIGN

Beetle Busters Campaign
Beetle Busters is an awareness campaign about asian long-horned beetles that destroyed a large amount of trees mainly
in Chicago. The identity concept was to communicate the urgency of the beetle through bold and italic typography, and dramatic colors. Also, the logo had to have
a clear resemblance of the beetle. The
media kit was produced to hand out to boy and girl scouts and other specific communities
in Chicago to report this beetle if spotted. The design follows through with the look
and feel of the logo and beetle illustration.
